Is Art Across Borders still in business?

Yes! My other business, Art Across Borders, is still open for business. My second bus, Frankie, has taken over the mobile events. We won’t be at as many craft markets in the coming year but will primarily be open for weddings. Flo is a permanent structure within the studio. The main reason I fell in love with this space is because it has a garage bay in the back that connects to the rest of the space. So as soon as you walk in, you will see Flo’s pretty self, ready to be a part of your party or workshop. Visit artacrossborders.com and follow along the adventure on Instagram and Facebook @artacrossborders.

What does Propagate mean?

I chose the name “Propagate Studio” because the term propagate means to take piece of something and grow that into something new. I believe that creativity and inspiration, especially when shared among people, has a change to propagate within us and turn into something new. Taking a piece of inspiration from another maker from the space, or a skill learned in a workshop, or even the love and joy felt from a party, can grow within us and produce something beautiful that then can be shared. I know, woo woo, but the jist is that creativity is meant to grow and be shared, and that is what I hope the studio can be the facilitator of.

Is your space wheel chair accessible?

Yes! Our main floor can be accessed best by wheel chair if you come in through out back door. Please reach out prior to arriving so we can move out ramp to the back door to help you enter the space.

Can I bring snacks and alcohol to a class?

Yes you can but please be mindful of the space and if your instructor has any specific time requirements for the class. For example, our Paint Like Bob Ross classes are very focused on the making of the painting and take up most of the table space. They are not mainly social gatherings like most paint and sip classes and the instructor has important information to give you the entire class. Please drink responsibly also!
