I know there is nothing like a brand new pack of art supplies, but Propagate Studio has an awesome Art Supply Thrift Shop where everything is take what you’ll use and pay what you can. Don’t worry, everything will be inspected, cleaned, and quality tested. We will be starting to accept new donations Nov 1. Please review the yes please and no thank you list below and email propagatestudionj@gmail.com with any questions about possible donation items.

Yes please!:

  • Yarn

  • Sewing machines and supplies

  • Crayons in the box, unused, or slightly used

  • Markers that have been tested for juiciness

  • Colored pencils (even dull ones!)

  • Construction, printer, or scrapbook paper

  • New or hardly used Acrylic, oil and watercolor paint 

  • Yarn, string, chord, hemp

  • Unused coloring books

  • Foam or felt sheets

  • New glue sticks

  • Hot glue sticks

  • New, gently used and clean paint brushes

  • Stretched canvas/canvas boards

  • Scissors

  • Card board tubes

  • Wrapping paper

  • Paper bags

  • Clean popsicle sticks

  • Pipe cleaners 

  • Journals, notebooks, sketchbooks

  • New/partially used paper pads

  • Mason jars

  • Beads

  • Beading tools

  • Frames

  • Containers without labels 

  • Photography equipment

  • Stained Glass Equipment

  • Pottery equipment

  • Portfolios

No thank you!:

  • Fabric (we are at max capacity!)

  • Plastic containers

  • Home decor

  • Clothes

  • Dry markers

  • Short colored pencils

  • Paper that’s been cut 

  • Bottles of paint with small amount left

  • Tangled yarn

  • Scraps of foam or felt

  • Used glue sticks

  • Painted on canvas

  • Sticker sheets with missing stickers

  • Journals/sketchbooks/coloring books with writing inside

  • Styrofoam

  • House paint

  • Scraps of wire

  • Scrap metal

  • Crusty paint brushes
